In fact, this eotech was able to pass military specification drop tests as well as being waterproof and shockproof.

The addendum just shows the same thing that is painted on the hood of the XPS2-300 to make it a 300. Those of us wanting a 300 BLK model can just order the XPS2-2 as you noted. I'll hold out for the XPS2-300 just for those hood markings so I don't have to remember the dots' ranges when switching weapons.
